Buffalo County commissioners approve minutes, ratify payroll and vendor claims and adopt Federal‑Aid Urban Boundary Map

Commissioner Timothy Higgins moved to approve the amended minutes (seconded by Bill Maendele) and the motion passed on a unanimous roll call vote.
The minutes contain detailed line‑item payroll and vendor lists. The General Fund net payroll is recorded as $378,773.32 and the Road Fund net payroll is recorded in the payroll listing; the minutes contain multiple benefit and withholding entries by line item. Commissioner Bill Maendele read employee service recognitions for several staff members, listing years of service for each.
In road‑department business, Highway Superintendent John Maul was present and the Board approved a Federal‑Aid Urban Boundary Map on a motion by Commissioner Ronald Loeffelholz, seconded by Commissioner Timothy Higgins; the vote was unanimous. Earlier in the agenda the Board determined a scheduled funds transfer item was unnecessary and removed it from consideration.
