Harry Douglas moved to retain Dedey; Alex Blythe seconded. A roll-call vote recorded in the minutes shows all members present — Wayne Bollin, Joe Boyles, Harry Douglas, Dennis Castlebury, Alex Blythe and Mark Menn — voting “yes.” The motion carried.
The committee also reviewed highway claims and, on a motion by Alex Blythe seconded by Wayne Bollin, approved payment of the claims. A roll-call vote was taken with all members present voting yes.
During the meeting Mr. Bollin reported an estimated equalized assessed value (EAV) of $506,836,631 and a separate figure listed as “EMS” at $338,801,849; the minutes do not define “EMS.” Steve Lucie and Lee Ann Lambert were recorded as absent. The committee recessed and adjourned at 8:47 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled after the full board meeting on Oct. 21.
