Marquette County Extension to combine committee structure with Land and Water under AED reorganization

Pat Wagner, Area Director for the Division of Extension—Marquette County, told the Extension Education Committee on Dec. 9 that the Area Extension Director (AED) structure will be reformatted and the current Area 14 will be renamed Area 12. Pat Wagner said a memorandum of understanding and a "136 contract" have been submitted in support of the change.
Dennis Fenner, who called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m., said the committee will implement a new combined structure with the county’s Land and Water committee beginning in February. The committee recorded no formal objections during the report; vouchers were reviewed and routine business continued.
Educators also presented program updates. Hannah Zellmer, Human Development and Relationships Educator, highlighted the Strong Couples program she is now offering; written educator reports from Zellmer and Christa Van Treeck, 4‑H Youth Development Educator, were placed on file.
