- Warming Center medical services: Non-fair-and-open contract with Alliance Community Health Care Inc., Nov. 1, 2025—to Apr. 30, 2026, $140,890; Commissioner O'Dea praised the Warming Center as a model of expanded services.
- Meadowview pharmacy services: Fair-and-open contract with Pharma Care, Inc., Feb. 1, 2026—to Jan. 31, 2027, $52,800.
- Branding and communications: Awards to Moxie Strategies ($143,375) and Frontier Strategies Group ($69,300). Commissioners requested the vendors—proposals and the scoring breakdowns prior to the public meeting vote.
- Social services and aging: Awards to various providers for 2026 program operations through the Division of Aging Services, $4,824,089.
- ARPA reallocations to address food insecurity: Reallocations to Salt Foundation, Hunger Free Unity and other providers (amounts varied); county staff said funds will cover food commodities, transportation, storage, rent and utilities.
- Inmate tablets: Amendment to the Global Tel Link contract to add inmate tablet services including FM radio and telemedicine capability, $583,000; county corrections staff said FM access replaces removed personal devices that had been misused.
- Cooperative purchase and recovery claim: Award to Johnston Communications for rerouting cut cable/conduit at the jail, $62,800; county staff said a claim has been filed to recover the cost from the contractor.
Why it matters: The slate combines public-health grants, human-services funding and multiple procurement awards. Several commissioners asked for additional procurement documentation and vendor proposals before the public meeting vote to ensure transparency and local participation objectives.
