Fulton County approves reappointments, bank signer updates and Treasurer office procedure changes; discusses building renovations

Fulton County commissioners on Dec. 9 approved a slate of reappointments and administrative changes affecting county governance and facilities. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve Planning Commission reappointments for Paula Shives, James Gress, Jeremy Fletcher and Tim Newman to four-year terms ending Dec. 31, 2029; Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to reappoint Russell McLucas to a four-year term on the Conservation District also ending Dec. 31, 2029. Both motions passed unanimously.
The board authorized execution of bank documents presented by Community State Bank to add and remove authorized check signers as part of a transition in the Treasurer's Office. Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop presented proposed operating procedure changes for the Treasurer's Office, and Commissioner Bunch authorized those changes.
Executive Development Director Julie Dovey, Executive Program Director Elen Ott and Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville briefed the commissioners on Phase II renovations for the upper level of a newly purchased building on Lincoln Way West; the record notes discussion but does not include a vote or a detailed project scope. The meeting adjourned at 11:02 a.m.
