Fulton County approves two probation grants and acknowledges a retention stipend plan

Chief Probation Officer Dan Miller presented the 2025–2026 Intermediate Punishment Treatment Grant in the amount of $35,000 and the 2025–2026 Continuing County Adult Probation/Parole Grant in the amount of $28,800. Commissioner Wible moved to authorize Commissioner Randy H. Bunch to sign the Intermediate Punishment Treatment Grant; Commissioner Hann moved to authorize Commissioner Bunch to sign the Continuing County Adult Probation/Parole Grant. Both motions carried with the board voting "All in favor."
The board also acknowledged a Retention Efforts Letter from Chief Probation Officer Miller proposing that a stipend be funded from the monthly supervision fee and held in a restricted account that may be spent only by the President Judge for the Adult Probation Department.
