Fulton County hires Caseworker II for Services for Children

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the hire of Amanda Sheffield as Caseworker II in the Services for Children Department on Jan. 27, contingent on clearances and completion of required paperwork. The request was presented by Services for Children Director Christine McQuade and HR Administrator Mary Huston; Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved for approval and the motion passed with all in favor.
A Salary Board meeting followed at 11:00 a.m. to finalize the personnel action; the minutes note separate Salary Board minutes are on file. The board also approved a travel request for probation department staff: Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve travel for Quinn Wiest to attend a two-day training at State College, Pa., scheduled for Feb. 4–6, 2026; the motion carried unanimously.
