County Attorney Dennis A. Davenport advised that, under state law, the county does not hold public hearings on annexation notifications and typically files either an objection or no objection. Following discussion, Vice Chairman Edward Gibbons moved to approve the county’s response; Commissioner Charles W. Oddo seconded. The motion passed 4-0-1, with Commissioner Charles D. Rousseau recorded as abstaining.
