The Murray County Board approved a fairgrounds advisory committee recommendation on June 17 to set stall rental fees at the county fairgrounds. Under the approved policy, the county will charge $45 per stall per night when county staff must clean stalls (includes two bags of wood shavings); if renters clean their own stalls the fee is $35 per stall per night (also including two bags of shavings). Additional bags of wood shavings will cost $10 each. The board recorded that all health and Coggins papers must be provided prior to stall rentals.
The advisory committee reported that Justin had been asked about renting stalls but no policy or fee schedule existed previously. The motion to adopt the fee schedule was moved by Loy Woelber, seconded by Mark Carlson and passed.
