Murray County places administrator on paid administrative leave, authorizes outside investigation

A roll-call vote on the leave motion recorded three "Yea" votes from Commissioners Loy Woelber, Mark Carlson and Roger Zins and two "Nay" votes from Commissioners Jackie Meier and Dennis Welgraven; the motion passed and the leave took effect immediately.
The board then authorized legal counsel to assist in arranging an outside investigator "in relation to complaints received regarding the County Administrator," and designated Commissioners Dennis Welgraven and Mark Carlson as points of contact for counsel and the investigator. The motion to authorize counsel and appoint contacts was moved by Loy Woelber, seconded by Mark Carlson and passed according to the minutes.
