Board signs off on kitchen project completion, shelter-cover work and WAN contract

The Savanna School District Board of Trustees approved several facilities and technology items during its Feb. 10, 2026 meeting.
Members unanimously approved a motion directing staff to file a Notice of Completion for the 2025 Kitchen Food Preparation Project (#40-06a/2025-26) performed by contractor M.P. South after a motion by Mrs. Chris Brown, seconded by Mr. Rigoberto A. Ramirez.
Trustees also approved a purchase order with M.P. South for the 2026 WINGS Shelter Cover Project (#40-06c/2025-26) under the district’s 2025 Maintenance/Construction Unit Price Bid Master Agreement (motion by Mr. John Shook, seconded by Mr. Ramirez). The board approved the 2026 Wide Area Network (WAN) Digital Transmission Services RFP bid from Spectrum (motion by Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mr. Shook); all three motions were recorded as unanimously carried.
