County Treasurer Brenda Rohrich presented motor-vehicle tax exemption renewal applications and the Board approved renewals for: American Red Cross (1999 trailer); Catholic High School of Kearney (2022 Ford Expedition Max XLT 4x4); First United Methodist Church of Kearney (2024 AMP Cooler Trailer); and Seneca Sunrise LLC (2021 Chrysler Pacifica van). Each approval passed on recorded unanimous votes.
County Assessor Roy Meusch submitted Tax List Corrections numbered 5077 through 5087; the Board approved the corrections. Meusch also advised that certain permissive exemption applications had been incorrectly submitted at the Feb. 25 meeting and recommended denial; the Board moved to deny those permissive exemption applications and the denials passed by unanimous vote.
The Board adjourned the Board of Equalization and returned to the regular meeting at 9:43 a.m.
