The Buffalo County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 2025-12 on March 11, 2025, formally recognizing Jennifer Murrish for 20 years as executive director of the Buffalo County Historical Society.
Commissioner Daniel Lynch read the resolution into the record praising Murrish’s leadership and the construction of a new Family History Center. Commissioner Timothy Higgins moved to adopt Resolution 2025-12, Commissioner Ivan Klein seconded the motion, and the measure passed on a unanimous roll call vote.
During the same session the Board ratified payroll claims processed on March 7, 2025, and accepted routine financial reports, including the Clerk of the District Court’s February 2025 report and the Treasurer’s February 2025 fund balance report. The payroll and report acceptances were approved by unanimous votes in recorded roll calls.
The Board noted the resolution and supporting documents are on file with the County Clerk. The Board adjourned the regular session and is scheduled to reconvene at 9:00 a.m. on March 25, 2025.
