Monona County approves health insurance renewal, authorizes building repair bids and approves monthly claims

Deputy Auditor Tammy Blinde and Denise Ballard of IGHCP (via Zoom) reviewed the county’s health insurance renewal; the board voted to approve renewal with IGHCP. The board also authorized Building Maintenance Randy Ping to request bids to repair county buildings damaged in the June 2024 hailstorm.
The board approved monthly claims and vendor payments totaling $515,589.48, as detailed in the minutes. The fund recap was presented showing allocations across county funds including General Basic, Secondary Roads, E911 surcharge and the Health Insurance Trust Fund (which reflected a line item of $166,650.70). The motions passed with aye votes from Supervisors Bo Fox and Tom Brouillette; no nays were recorded.
