The Charlotte County Planning Commission voted to recommend that the Board of Supervisors approve a conditional use permit for C’s Auto Sales, a proposed automobile sales business on Tax Parcel 85‑A‑43 at 1574 Barnesville Highway in Red Oak.
Deputy County Administrator Monica Elder presented the staff report, reviewing application details, applicable criteria, and recommended conditions. There were no applicant statements, no public comments and no commissioner questions during the hearing. Commissioner Andrew Carwile moved to recommend approval based on findings that the location is on a primary transportation corridor, is proximate to local growth corridors, supports the Comprehensive Plan’s economic goals and is compatible with adjacent uses; Mike Price seconded the motion and it carried with all members present voting yes.
The recommendation will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final action.
