Brooke County Commission approves personnel moves, ambulance engine replacement and generator bid

The Brooke County Commission met in an adjourned session at the Brooke County Courthouse on June 25, 2024, and unanimously approved a slate of personnel and procurement actions affecting county operations.

Thomas R. Diserio, commissioner, moved and Stacey Wise, commissioner, seconded approval of the June 18, 2024 minutes; the motion passed unanimously. The commission then approved a series of personnel items: it accepted a letter from Tonda Taylor formally retiring effective July 31, 2024; it approved hiring Becky Isinghood as a full-time employee pending background and drug testing with a start date of July 1, 2024 at Tier 1 pay ($39,520.00 annually, $19.00 per hour); and it accepted the resignation of Frank Lucero from the Address Coordinator position. All of these motions were made by Commissioner Diserio, seconded by Commissioner Wise and passed unanimously.
