BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va. — The Brooke County Commission on July 9 tabled a decision on awarding a new ambulance contract, approved several internal budget transfers and a $270,308 coal-severance budget revision, and accepted the Brooke County Ambulance Authority Board’s recommendation to appoint Greg Moore as director of EMA/OES.
The commission announced three ambulance bids for 2023 Type III models or newer: Myers Equipment Corporation submitted a 2024 E350 remount for $156,000 and a 2024 E450 for $202,618; Penn Care Inc. submitted a 2025 E350 for $148,450; and Atlantic Emergency Solutions submitted a 2025 E350 for $54,798.…
