Commissioners also reviewed a proposed purchase from Motorola Solutions for radios and programming totaling $100,960.72. The meeting record states the commission is waiting to determine whether the purchase can proceed under the Emergency Management Agency's (EMA) state contract or must be competitively bid; no vote on the Motorola item was recorded in the minutes.
The commission handled these procurement items during the adjourned session and deferred final action on the generator and the radio procurement until required technical and contracting reviews are complete.
