Town minutes state that Interlaken had responded to BHR expressing concern that past payments were "very delayed," and that any amendment should be preceded by evidence BHR will comply with the current agreement. The minutes record that BHR did pay current invoices on time, and Mayor Greg Harrigan suggested that the town attorney present the council's list of concerns to BHR before the council moves forward with further discussions.
No formal motion to amend the agreement was made at the Jan. 27 meeting. Council direction was procedural: have the attorney communicate the town's concerns and obtain assurances or evidence of compliance before considering amendments.
