County staff report reduced price and pending change orders for Rodeo Grandstands project

She said other pending items include Change Order 7M and Change Order 22, and that additional arena safety steps are estimated at about $4,000. Change Order #16 was described as covering overtime and work beyond the original concrete and door scope. Stacey also said steel for the project is scheduled to be delivered to the site on 3/16.
The board did not take a formal vote during the study session but requested that staff provide formal documentation for all pending change orders so commissioners can review the exact scopes and costs before approving final contract amendments. The request was entered as a direction to staff rather than an immediate action.
Next steps: staff will compile and present the requested change order documentation for future consideration as part of contract administration and any related budget adjustments.
