At second reading the Council approved Ordinance 2026-02, which authorizes a fee-in-lieu of tax agreement and designates property as part of a multi-county industrial park for an entity identified as Project 2493. Vice Chair Erin Mosley moved the ordinance; Councilman Bobby Raines seconded. The motion passed 6–1, with Councilman John Agee recorded as opposed.
