The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved the dismissal of a Domestic Relations employee and authorized county staff to advertise for an "Enforcement Officer 1" position at their Dec. 16, 2025 meeting.
Commissioners met with Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress during the meeting. On a motion by Commissioner Hervey P. Hann the board voted to dismiss a Domestic Relations employee effective Monday, Dec. 8, 2025. The board then approved, again on a motion by Commissioner Hann, to advertise for an Enforcement Officer 1 position for the Domestic Relations Department, with advertisements to run both internally and externally.
The minutes record the personnel action and the authorization to advertise but do not include the dismissed employee’s name, the reason for dismissal, the job posting text, salary range or recruitment timeline. Those personnel details are not included in the public minutes and would be handled according to county human-resources procedures.
