Fulton County authorizes replacement of dispatch clocks, regional support contract and two-year hazmat agreement

At its Dec. 23 meeting the Fulton County Board of Commissioners authorized purchase of two dispatch clocks, approved a 2026 regional support contract for Mission Critical Partners (fully grant funded), and approved a two-year Hazmat Team agreement with McCUTCHEON Enterprises with set payments for FY2026 and FY2027.
The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Dec. 23 approved multiple public-safety contracts and equipment purchases aimed at modernizing emergency response infrastructure.
Brian Barton, EMA/911 Director, told commissioners that the dispatch clocks at the center are more than 20 years old and are in need of replacement. Barton said "Pre Alert" is in place and that the information has been sent out to the fire departments and provided an update on trainings completed and upcoming trainings.
On a motion by Commissioner Randy H. Bunch, the board approved a ComPros quote to purchase and install two dispatch clocks for $4,940.00, including hardware and installation. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve the 2026 Mission Critical Partners Regional Support Contract for Professional Services; minutes record that the contract is fully grant funded and the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved a two-year Hazmat Team agreement with McCUTCHEON Enterprises, Inc. with payments of $2,500.00 for FY2026 and $7,500.00 for FY2027.
All motions on these public-safety items were recorded as unanimous ("all in favor"). The board adjourned at 11:21 a.m.
