Fulton County commissioners approve minutes, payables and routine requests; hear demo and public comment

At their Feb. 10 meeting the commissioners approved minutes and $91,872.06 in accounts payable, authorized travel for the Services for Children director, approved a $640 tire purchase and accepted a certification statement. The Fulton County Board of Commissioners convened Feb. 10 and handled routine administrative business including approving prior meeting minutes and authorizing accounts payable totaling $91,872.06.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the Feb. 3, 2026 commissioners' minutes and the Jan. 27, 2026 Retirement Board minutes; both motions were recorded 'All in favor.' Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve accounts payable dated Feb. 3, 2026, totaling $91,872.06, which the minutes break down by fund: $75,212.91 General Fund, $153.17 SFC Technology Grant, $492.80 SFC Evidence Based Practice, $172.69 Law Library, $2,546.01 911, $794.48 Domestic Relations, and $12,500.00 Capital Projects.
Other approvals included a travel request for Services for Children Director Christine McQuade to attend the Chief Justice Max Baer's Children's Roundtable Summit April 22–24, 2026, in Hershey, Pa.; a Citgo tire quote of $640.00 for four tires to allow a Services for Children vehicle to pass inspection; and a Certification Statement for the fourth quarter of 2025 submitted by Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott. All motions were recorded as carried with unanimous consent.
The meeting also included a demonstration of the Chief 360 Mobile tool for Fire & EMS by McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Chief Pete Lynch, EMA/911 Director Brian Barton and Fulton County resident Jim Pittman; the demonstration was informational and no action was taken. Fulton County resident Craig Strait presented a handout on a Clean and Green matter related to the history of personal property; the minutes record the presentation but note that no action was taken.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to adjourn at 11:20 a.m.; the motion passed 'All in favor.'
