Two local counseling agencies announce merger; leaders say services including Title 25 evaluations will continue

FREMONT COUNTY — Leaders of two local behavioral health providers announced plans to merge and told the Fremont County Commissioners the consolidation should not disrupt services.
Fremont Counseling Services Executive Director Scott Hayes and Central Wyoming Counseling Center CEO Jim Cowser appeared at the Feb. 17 meeting and said the organizations expect the merger to be finalized within two to three months. Hayes assured commissioners that all services, including Title 25 evaluations, will continue without interruption and are expected to improve.
