The ordinance, which the commission adopted by roll‑call vote, adjusts the code’s required culinary water allocation to 0.45 acre‑feet and updates terminology (replacing “hogs” with “pigs”). The adoption also notes that Nephi City now maintains Mona’s gas system. Commissioner Frank Riding moved to adopt Ordinance 2026‑2 and Commissioner Wayne Hellyer seconded; the motion passed 4–0 with Commissioner Jack Boyd recorded absent.
The commission also approved minutes from Jan. 7 and Jan. 27, tabled a property inquiry from an absent applicant (Kelsey Quarnberg) and adjourned at 8:40 p.m. Chair Dennis Gardner and Secretary Lori Henrie signed the meeting minutes. The item of greatest substantive debate at the meeting was the East Hills Meadows subdivision, which was tabled for further documentation and water‑rights clarification.
