BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va. — The Brooke County Commission met in adjourned session Oct. 29, 2024, and unanimously accepted the resignation of Jaetin Popish as Brooke County Dog Warden, approved several routine financial disbursements and voted to support a BHJ coalition letter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for brownfields assessment and planning activities.
Andrew J. Thomas, president of the Brooke County Commission, was recorded present with Commissioners Stacey Wise and Thomas R. Diserio. Clerk Kimberly M. Barbetta said preliminaries included a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance before the board moved through the agenda.
