Brooke County approves $126,667 in ARPA draws for sewer and water projects

The Brooke County Commission on Nov. 26 unanimously approved four American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) draws to fund local sewer and water projects.
Commissioner Thomas R. Diserio moved to approve the four resolutions presented by BHJ; Commissioner Stacey Wise seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The approved draws are: ARPA #1 Draw #4 — $9,151.80 for Beach Bottom Sewer Plant upgrades; ARPA #2 Draw #7 — $102,650.00 for a Drovers Inn sewage extension; ARPA #10 Draw #14 — $2,365.57 for a Phase IIC supplement project; and ARPA #11 Draw #1 — $12,500.00 for the Colliers water meter project. The draws total $126,667.37.
BHJ presented the package of resolutions to the Commission; the minutes do not record further discussion or objections. The allocations are intended to support infrastructure work on wastewater and water-meter upgrades described in the resolutions presented to the Commission.
The Commission approved the resolutions as recorded in the minutes; the matter was concluded without recorded amendments or conditions. The meeting adjourned after finishing agenda business.
