Commissioner announces warming centers in Brooke County as commissioners ask for prayers for California fire victims

Commissioner Stacey Wise announced at the Brooke County Commission’s Jan. 21 adjourned session that warming centers would be made available for residents if needed and asked residents to contact Emergency Management Services for assistance.
Wise also thanked Pastor Knight for including first responders and those in the direct line of duty in the day’s prayer and requested that the commission keep those affected by the California fires in their prayers. She named Bethany, Colliers, Follansbee and Wellsburg as locations where warming centers would be available.
