The Rocky Ridge Planning & Zoning Commission voted unanimously Jan. 6 to approve proposed updates to municipal code sections 11.06 and 15 and will forward the completed documents to the Town Council for consideration at its January meeting.
The commission held a public hearing during which staff presented the finalized code revisions. After discussion, the commission took a roll-call vote approving the changes as presented; commissioners Lane Allred, David Allred, Bryan Matthews, David (Dave) Bunker and Steven Bunker all voted in favor.
The approval is a recommendation to the Town Council: the commission’s action forwards the proposed amendments for Council review and any subsequent formal adoption. The commission’s packet notes that the documents were completed and ready for the January Council agenda.
No public speakers or formal amendments to the proposed language were recorded at the commission meeting.
The commission also approved meeting minutes for October and December during the same session. The commission adjourned at 8:34 p.m.; the council is scheduled to receive the code revisions at its next regular meeting.
