Spencer County approves pay-rate increases and amends procurement language in administrative code

The Spencer County Fiscal Court approved a package of personnel pay-rate changes and adopted amendments to the county administrative code on July 15.

The pay-rate proposal covered multiple departments — administration, parks, recycle/solid waste, animal control, planning and zoning, EMS and road department positions — and was recorded in the packet as effective July 1, 2019.
