At its Nov. 18 meeting, Spencer County Fiscal Court approved several routine procurement and budget items.
The court accepted RBK Enterprises’ written quote of $2,467.17 to replace the door on the election‑storage building (motion by Esq. Travis; second by Esq. M. Moody), selecting the lowest written quote provided to the court. The motion was recorded as approved by the court.
On a separate item, Arnie Mueller of the Felix Grundy Stidger Historical Preservation Foundation requested $2,500 to help secure matching grant funds; the court approved $2,250 toward that effort (motion Travis; second Beaverson). Esqs. M. Moody and J. Moody voted "nay" on that appropriation.
The court also reviewed an extensive invoices register (General, Road and Jail funds) and approved all bills, invoices, purchases and transfers by recorded motion; the minutes list multiple vendors and specific invoice line items in the register. The minutes record the court’s cash balances for the major funds and several recommended transfers to cover advertising and testing costs.
