The Harrah City Council accepted donated equipment and a land donation intended to support public-safety services.
Council unanimously accepted a donation from Del City of a 2000 E-ONE 75-foot ladder truck for the Fire Department. The motion was made by Tim Rudek and seconded by Jennifer McCammond.
Later in the meeting Council entered Executive Session under 25 O.S. Sec. 307(B)(3) to consider the acquisition of a land donation for a public safety building. After returning to open session, Council approved a motion to accept the land donation and to authorize payment for a commercial appraisal; the motion was made by Jennifer McCammond and seconded by Bill Lisby and passed unanimously.
Council recorded the executive session entry and return (entered 8:04 p.m.; returned 8:19 p.m.) and directed staff to proceed with procurement of the appraisal as a next step.
