The Dimmit County Public Facilities Corporation met in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Dimmit County Courthouse Annex on May 27, 2025. County Judge Martha Alicia Gomez Ponce called the meeting to order at 10:14 am and the clerk recorded a quorum.
Commissioner Valerie Rubalcaba moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of May 12, 2025, subject to corrections; Commissioner Alonso Carmona seconded the motion, which carried. The corporation then took up financial items. Commissioner Alonso Carmona moved to approve the monthly financial report; Commissioner Valerie Rubalcaba seconded, and the motion carried. The minutes note the monthly report as attached.
An agenda item listed as "INS Lease" (item 3.2) received no action. Later, Commissioner Valerie Rubalcaba moved to approve the claim docket for Public Safety in the amount of $2,606.57; Commissioner Alonso Carmona seconded the motion and it carried.
Commissioner Alonso Carmona moved to recess and adjourn; Commissioner Jose A. Urenda seconded the motion. The Public Facilities Corporation recessed and adjourned the meeting at 10:17 am. The minutes are attested by County Judge Martha Alicia Gomez Ponce and County Clerk Claudia McDaniel.
