Commissioners approve yearlong contracts for Garfield County Health Department

The Garfield County Board of County Commissioners on July 1 approved a slate of contracts and service agreements for the Garfield County Health Department covering July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. Commissioners voted unanimously to authorize agreements with vendors that include Advanced Water Solutions, County Budgeting Services LLC, 4R Kids, Faith Mechanical, Generator Supercenter of Oklahoma, Bass Baptist Health Center, Jolene Guavis, Mail Run, Oklahoma Copier Solutions and Standley Systems.
The approvals came in a series of motions presented by Commissioner Clarence Maly and Commissioner David Loesch during the health-department portion of the agenda. The board also accepted the Resale Property Fund financial statement for May 2024 during the same sequence of motions.
The motions did not attach individual dollar amounts in the minutes for each vendor contract; the agenda entry specifies that the health-department agreements and maintenance services are effective for the FY2024–2025 period. The board recorded unanimous votes on each motion (Aye: Reese Wedel, Clarence Maly, David Loesch).
By approving the contracts, the county authorized recurring maintenance, janitorial, equipment service and programmatic relationships intended to support county public-health operations for the coming fiscal year. The board provided no public comment and no formal amendments were recorded. The next scheduled meeting is July 8, 2024.
