Garfield County to revise road agreements for two energy projects pending district attorney review

Commissioner David Loesch moved to proceed with changes to the Skeleton Creek agreement and to place it on a future agenda following district-attorney review; Vice-Chairman Clarence Maly made the comparable motion for the Breckenridge Energy Storage agreement. Both motions passed on unanimous votes (Aye: Wedel, Maly, Loesch).

The board did not adopt final versions at the April 29 session. Commissioners said the agreements are being revised to remove language outside the county’s authority and will return for formal consideration after the district attorney’s review and signature.
