In an e-mail read into the record, Eric Bean of QK4 described a Jan. 2 inspection conducted at the request of Road Foreman Todd Burch. "Based upon my observations and conversation with Foreman Burch, we recommend this phase to be considered complete," Bean wrote. The court noted Foreman Burch confirmed pavement repairs met county satisfaction.
Esq. Travis moved to release the bond and the motion was seconded by Esq. Brewer. The court voted with all members present voting "aye" to release the $56,800 bond. Judge John Riley noted the county had already adopted the section of road by ordinance and that the bond release followed the county's acceptance process.
No additional conditions were recorded in the minutes; the motion's adoption authorizes the county to return the developer's bond for this phase of Watkins Glen Way.
