Spencer County approves $496,013 Spears Drive FEMA drainage contract with Flynn Brothers

On a motion by Esq. M. Moody, seconded by Esq. Brewer, the court authorized the County Judge to execute the contract with Flynn Brothers. The motion carried with all members present voting "aye." The contract documents include standard bid components and addenda and require the contractor to commence work within 10 days of the notice to proceed.
The action advances a FEMA-eligible drainage improvement project described in QK4 engineering documents; the county will now proceed with contract execution and preconstruction arrangements.
