Simpson County keeps 2022 tax rates unchanged and approves budget amendment

The court also approved second reading of FY22/23 Budget Ordinance No. 220.243, Amendment No. 1, in the amount of $900,532.94. Both measures were adopted by recorded motions and unanimous votes; the ordinance vote was recorded as yes votes from Magistrates Marty Chandler, Nathaniel Downey, Scott Poston, Myron Thurman and Judge Barnes.
