Fiscal Court authorizes judge to sign KTC funding agreements and approves PSAP with Mason County

Fleming County Fiscal Court gave the County Judge/Executive authority to sign KTC emergency and Flex Funding agreements for Wooley Road repairs, approved Resolution 19-1290, and approved a PSAP agreement with Mason County and September road reports totaling $217,035.28.
The Fleming County Fiscal Court on Nov. 12 authorized County Judge/Executive Larry H. Foxworthy to sign any documents necessary for a KTC Emergency Funding request to repair roadway slippage on Wooley Road if the county is awarded the funds, and separately approved the KTC Flex Funding Agreement (Resolution 19-1290).
Both actions were approved by unanimous vote. The court also approved a PSAP agreement with Mason County effective Oct. 28, 2019 and accepted the September 2019 County Road Maintenance Reports as presented, which showed maintenance expenses totaling $217,035.28.
The judge's authority to sign documents will allow county staff to complete state funding paperwork if an emergency grant is awarded; the Fiscal Court voted to give that authority during the meeting.
