Sevier County Beer Board unanimously approves Wild Side LLC on-premise beer sales in Pigeon Forge

The Sevier County Beer Board unanimously approved Wild Side, LLC’s application to sell beer on the premises of its outdoor resort at 1105 Laurel Lick Rd in Pigeon Forge, the board recorded at its May 13 meeting. Chairman Greg Haggard called the meeting to order at 4:01 PM.

Member Dale Hill moved to accept the previous meeting minutes; Member Chad Ogle seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The board then considered the Wild Side, LLC on-premise beer request. Owner Bryce Bentz was present to answer questions from board members.

Hill asked where beer sales would take place inside the facility; Bentz said the exact indoor sales location was still being determined. Bentz also said the property would provide outdoor seating via picnic tables and that the site will remain an outdoor resort rather than be converted to cabins. On questions about safety, Bentz said staff are undergoing training for serving and that guidelines are in place so that employees who have been drinking would not operate company vehicles or ATVs.

After discussion, Member Dale Hill moved to accept the consideration as presented; Member Greg Houk seconded. The motion passed unanimously. Member Chad Ogle made a motion to adjourn; Member Dale Hill seconded. The meeting adjourned at 4:10 PM.
