Other unanimous actions included adopting a Letter of Engagement with VML VACO Financial Services for advisory services, amending the FY23 budget calendar to add a financial-work-session on April 4, declaring a 2005 Ford F150 surplus to be donated to Bland County Public Schools, appropriating $1,099.62 from the Board of Supervisors’ special funds, and increasing the benevolent-policy cap from $50 to $75.
The board also reappointed Julie Pauley (term exp. Feb. 28, 2026) and John Mustard (term exp. March 31, 2025) to the Mount Rogers Alcohol Safety Action Program, and moved the March regular meeting to March 24 at 5:00 p.m.
