Board declares Commonwealth Attorney items surplus, holds certified closed session

The board unanimously approved declaring the items surplus and allowed the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office to dispose of them.
Later in the meeting Supervisor Robert Zava moved and the board entered closed session under Virginia Code §2.2-3711(A)(1) to discuss personnel matters. After the closed session the board adopted the required certification under §2.2-3712 that only lawfully exempted business was discussed, and returned to open session by unanimous roll-call vote.
The meeting adjourned following the board’s return to open session.
