Board appoints Drew DiStanislao as assistant county attorney

County Attorney Frank Rennie introduced Attorney Drew DiStanislao at the Dec. 9 board meeting, noting DiStanislao had worked with Rennie at CowanGates for one year and previously in a part-time role. Supervisor Frank Bacon moved to appoint DiStanislao as Assistant County Attorney; the board approved the appointment by unanimous roll call.
Following the appointment, Assistant Attorney DiStanislao provided an overview of the county’s planned redistricting process and said a ten-person committee will prepare a plan to bring to the board and a public hearing in February 2022.
