Town Planner Jeremy Credeur presented the staff recommendation and supporting materials, which were filed with Town Hall. Mayor Mike Wissman opened a public hearing as required; no members of the public spoke during the hearing. After the hearing was closed, Alderman Jeff McKee made the main motion to approve the ordinance; Alderman Oscar Brooks seconded and the board voted unanimously to adopt the second and final reading.
The ordinance changes the zoning classification for the listed parcel from residential estate use to a shopping‑center designation. The full presentation and the official zoning map amendment are on file at Town Hall. The board took no additional conditions or amendments during the vote and no legal authority beyond the ordinance itself was cited during the hearing.
The ordinance was adopted at the meeting with no recorded opposing votes and is entered into the town minutes.
