Arlington board approves development extension, emergency wastewater repairs and multiple infrastructure contracts

The Town of Arlington Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a package of resolutions on Aug. 4, 2025, covering development vesting, emergency utility repairs, roadway maintenance and a town anniversary celebration.
Town Planner Jeremy Credeur presented Resolution 2025-32, asking the board to extend approval of the 61-acre Woodland Estates planned development for one year under Town zoning Section 5.7.12. Credeur said the developer cited higher interest rates and delayed sewer availability as reasons for the extension. Vice Mayor Harry McKee moved to approve the extension; the board voted unanimously.
