The Charlevoix County Veterans Affairs Committee elected Timothy Nemecek as chair and Mark Warner as vice chair during its Oct. 8, 2025, meeting.
The committee approved the Aug. 20, 2025, minutes on a motion by Timothy Nemecek, seconded by Thomas Breakey; the motion carried. The committee recorded attendance and on a motion by Nemecek, seconded by Mark Warner, accepted the absence of member Seth Thorson.
Under new business, Nemecek moved to approve himself as chair; Mark Warner seconded the motion and the committee approved it. Nemecek then moved to approve Mark Warner as vice chair; Joni Hosler seconded and the motion carried. The committee also recorded the appointment of William Cousineau as a new committee member.
