Director McCormick asked the board to approve a resolution accepting donations totaling $15,403.00; Commissioner Jack Kolars moved to approve and Commissioner Nicole Helget seconded. The board approved the donation resolution unanimously on a roll-call vote.
The board also approved its consent agenda by motion of Commissioner Helget and second by Commissioner Marie Dranttel. Consent items included approval of bills and the Jan. 6, 2026 minutes; 2026 contracts for the St. Peter Library and North Mankato Library and bookmobile; 2026 solid waste collection and transportation licenses; a Carver County juvenile detention contract involving Blue Earth County; and acknowledgment and approval of auditor's and commissioner warrants. The meeting record lists warrant totals as: General Revenue Fund, $1,230,425.12; Road & Bridge Fund, $180,666.51; Human Services Fund, $376,606.53.
The approvals were recorded as routine financial and contracting actions necessary to carry out county operations; no public appearances were made during the meeting.
