Commissioners certify Nov. 4 municipal election and approve HART invoices and warranty for election equipment

Elections Director Linda Doyle presented the Certification of the 1st signing of the Municipal Election held Nov. 4, 2025. Motion by Commissioner Hervey P. Hann to approve and execute the first signing of the Certification of Computation of Election Results was adopted by the board (record: "All in favor").
The board also voted to approve purchases and invoices related to election administration. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve a one‑year HART extended warranty for Verity Scan and Verity Scan Writer with coverage from Jan. 18, 2026, through Jan. 17, 2027, at a cost of $2,700.00; the motion carried. Commissioner Wible approved a HART invoice for election ballot creation and programming in the amount of $10,599.39; that vote also carried.
Linda Doyle presented the certification to the commissioners during the meeting; she also provided the signed paperwork needed to meet the statutory certification requirements. The meeting minutes record the motions and approvals; no contested results or objections are recorded in the meeting minutes.
The record shows related election‑administration expenditures were approved the same day the certification was executed.
