Council keeps waterpark admission and party-pricing for 2026 season

Chris Champion presented the 2026 waterpark schedule and pricing and recommended no changes to admission or season-pass prices. Champion said opening day is scheduled for May 23 and the park will run through Aug. 9 (subject to final school-calendar confirmation).
He outlined recommended prices: $12 admission for ages 2 and older, $8 for military and seniors 65+ (and non-swimmers), a $100 individual season pass and a family pass priced at $100 for the first person plus $50 for each additional household member. Private parties of two hours would remain $450 Monday–Thursday and $600 for two hours on Friday–Sunday; extended bookings would double those totals.
Champion said last year the park sold out private-party slots before the season opened and reported modest operating losses in prior years offset by improvements to facilities and reduced payroll costs; he recommended holding prices steady for 2026. The council moved to approve and recorded support by voice vote.
